Training Students to Help with Energy Management for Local Businesses

Challenge

To create a training platform, energy management system, and data collection application for mobile devices that automates grouping, intuitively matches separate user groups, while also housing and computing energy consumption metrics and savings opportunities for organizations.

Outcome

The system has been a great success and became the foundation for the non-profit the Green Impact Campaign, which was co-founded by our Managing Director, Dave Hussey. The application has helped thousands of student volunteers gain exposure and training for sustainability concepts surrounding energy efficiency, as well as, providing an avenue for those students to engage their business communities. The application and non-profit continue to assist students and organizations across North America.
