New Product MVP Design & Development for a budding Venture in Roommate Matching

To research, design, and develop a fully functioning roommate matching system that presented a solution for the hypothesis that the matching and management of university roommates could be dramatically improved in regards to compatibility along the lines of values, interests, and habits. We were tasked to do expert and user research, develop a proprietary matching algorithm, design and develop the application, facilitate alpha and beta testing, and consult with the approach to market and technology operations.

Outcome

Developed the alpha, beta, and production products to include a proprietary compatibility matching system based on the stable marriage algorithm and a novel approach to statistical error regression, which resulted a business viable venture built around as a Drupal platform that is currently used by several universities across the US.
