Challenge

After a security consultation revealed opportunities for improvement after a major site redesign, we were called back to refactor the entire e-commerce implementation in order to improve usability, performance, and system stability. New features and improvements were needed throughout the site, but the underpinning site infrastructure was not suitable for scale, needs were urgent, and new development issues were being discovered with each attempt at a new release.

Outcome

Complete refactor of the existing implementation to include Product Display, Merchandising, Upsell & Cross Selling, Recurring Subscriptions, Similar Products, AJAX checkout, Cart enhancements, Sales Reporting, Mobile Responsiveness, Guest Checkout, Cart Abandonment, Landing Pages, Support Pages, and a wide range of other optimizations.
